13th May 2021 Visit Kefalonia Katelios Beaches is located here Katelios' small beach is made up of sand and shingle, the water is clear and shallow for a fair distance so great for families with small children. There are a number of tavernas along the seafront who offer free sunbeds to those who eat at their premises.

Petani Petani is also on the Paliki Peninsula, on Kefalonia's west coast. Of all the beaches on the island, it's the most similar to Myrtos (along with Platia Ammos and Gialiskari which are both difficult to access at the moment). Reachable by car, Petani has a couple of tavernas and a few organised sections (in high summer at least).
